What is First Response?

About the cause: First responders and frontline healthcare workers across the country have had to step up and be the real heroes as they deal with COVID-19.

Our job is to support them and let them know how appreciative we are!

What we’ll do: We ship the entire volunteer experience to your home or office along with educational materials, packaging, prepaid shipping labels, and supplies. We then join a live event together to learn about the response and create impactful supply packs for those that are showing up on the frontlines and protecting all of us.

Join us for this event as we make sure the courage of health workers is honored with meaningful support through a fun team activity.

How It Works

WeHero events are designed to be easy while maximizing impact.

How Many Employees?

Select how many employees you would like to have participate in the event.

We Box It Up

Working with our non-profit partners we source all the necessary materials and activities, add easy to follow instructions, box it up, and ship it to you.

Have Your Event

We host a live educational event via Zoom or a preferred web conferencing system. Don’t worry, it’s easy and our team is always available for support.

Send It Back

We provide pre-paid shipping labels and boxes to make shipping everything back easy. Once the event is over, we send a thank you email with details on the impact created.

What does your event come with?

  • Dedicated Event Coordinator
    After booking your event, you are assigned a WeHero event coordinator to support you with all items related to your event. We’re here to make sure your event is perfect!
  • Live Event and Instructions
    We host a live event for your team to connect, learn, and participate together. We also provide detailed instructions for those that can’t make the live experience or would like to partake on their own time.
  • Supplies
    Each event contains all of the supplies needed for the first response packs. Healthy snacks, instant coffee, thank you letters and more all go into the kits!
  • Pre-paid Shipping Labels
    Shipping is easy! Attach the pre-paid shipping labels and USPS will pick your packages up at a date and time that works best for you.
  • Sign-in Form
    There’s more to this experience than meets the eye. We’ve provided a form for employees to leave their name and email so we can send you a thank you email with details on the impact you created!

Am I able to call or email WeHero leading up to the event?

Yes! Our team is here and available to make sure your event is awesome. You’ll find we touch base regularly to make sure all goes smoothly.

Can a WeHero event work for a large group of employees?

Absolutely. These events can scale with the size of your group.

How do I go about getting budget for something like this?

We’re here to support you. Give our blog a read for tips on how to get budget here or reach out and our team would be more than happy to help you.

Do I need to handle any of the shipping and is it an extra cost?

There is no additional charge for shipping. WeHero handles all of the shipping including having USPS pick up the completed kits from your home or office when your event is complete.
