Education Access

Date and Time: TBD

We're providing hundreds of students with education supplies

About the cause: 250 million kids across the globe struggle with reading, writing, science, and math. If these students are lucky enough to attend school, they often don’t have the resources to purchase the necessary school supplies. WeHero alongside our corporate and non-profit partners are aggressively trying to resolve this issue, sourcing the necessary supplies to make these students successful in the classroom.

About the event: The Education Access Project is a WeHero Volunteer Event delivering kits that have the necessary school supplies to underprivileged students in your local community. The kits are designed to be fun and to inspire the kids to want to go to school and stay in school. You’ll be adding your own touch and message to each kit you create, drawing fun pictures on the bags, and leaving letters of encouragement.

Join us for this virtual event as we learn about education in our local communities and connect over a fun activity at home. Let’s supply some kids!

On average, individuals support 1 kid with educational supplies every 5 days just by surfing the web

Provide education materials for kids with every browser tab you open in Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge!

The WeHero extension transforms your “new tab” page. Each time you open a tab, you will be greeted with a new image, the amount raised, and a couple of banner ads. We collect ad revenue from the page and use it to donate to the causes you are supporting!

The best part, you see the actual number of kids you supported!

Supporting over 16,000 young people every year in education

Inspire! is a registered charity established in 2004. Our work is based in Hackney, Camden, Islington and surrounding areas of London.

We began as an Education Business Partnership: an organisation which links schools with businesses to provide work experience, work-related learning, enterprise education and Careers Education, Information and Guidance (CEIAG) services.

Brokering these links remains at the heart of our work. However, EBPs are no longer funded by the government. As an independent charity, we rely on the support of businesses, trusts and foundations, and our education partners to continue our mission.
