What is the Packs of Love event?

About the cause: Even in some of the wealthiest counties in the country, many local children are at risk of serious health problems such as being born too small or premature. According to recent research, the average medical costs for a preterm baby were more than 10 times higher than for a healthy full-term baby. Packs of Love supports not only children being born into poverty but also families dealing with the extreme costs of caring for a sick child.

What we’ll do: The Packs of Love Project is a WeHero Volunteer Event delivering baby bundles to mothers in need. These kits are designed to support both mother and baby with the essentials supplies needed. You’ll be adding your own touch and message to each kit you create to show your support and encouragement.

We Box It Up

Working with our non-profit partners we source all the necessary materials and activities, add easy to follow instructions, box it up, and ship it to you.

Have Your Event

We host a live event via Zoom or a preferred web conferencing system. Don’t worry, it’s easy and our team is always available for support.

Send It Back

We provide pre-paid shipping labels and boxes to make shipping everything back easy. Once the event is over, we send a thank you email to your team detailing the impact as well as ways to continue supporting the cause.

What does your event come with?

Dedicated Event Coordinator
After booking your event, you are assigned a WeHero event coordinator to support you with all items related to your event. We’re here to make sure your event is perfect!

Live Event
We host a live event for your team as well as detailed instructions to have the perfect event!

Baby Supplies
Each event contains supplies needed to put together baby bundles for families in need. These supplies are very specific, and are sourced for the sole purpose of supporting newborns. Diapers, Baby Wipes, Burp Blankets and even a fun toy for the kids!

Letters
Use the WeHero notepaper to write the recipient of your kit a short letter. Encourage them to stay strong through this difficult time. It means a lot to them that someone out there is thinking of them.

Pre-paid Shipping Labels
Shipping is easy! Attach the pre-paid shipping labels and USPS will pick your package up the day after your event.

Impact Report
There’s more to this experience than meets the eye. We send a thank you email to your team with details on the impact created!

Do I need to handle any of the shipping and is it an extra cost?

There is no additional charge for shipping. WeHero handles all of the shipping including having USPS pick up the completed kits from your office when your event is complete.
