About the cause: A total of 552,830 people were experiencing homelessness on a single night in 2019. Homelessness is a situation, not a person. Homeless shelters and food banks across the country are doing what they do best – feeding people in need within their communities.
With your help, we can get support to the food banks and shelters so that the vulnerable people in our communities are fed. We’re here to inspire these folks to stay strong and fight through their journey to a stable life.
What we’ll do: WeHero works with companies to create healthy food and hygiene packages to be delivered to the homeless. These packages are accompanied by cards to give employees the option to write notes of encouragement to the recipient of their package. WeHero provides education around the homeless population in major cities throughout the US and what is being done to alleviate the problem.
